Parks Canada manages national parks on behalf of all Canadians© Parks Canada The first management plan for Gulf Islands National Park Reserve is currently under development.
The management plan public consultation process is phased as follows:
Once the management plan is finalized, it is approved by the CEO for Parks Canada and the Minister of Environment and is tabled in Parliament.

Your input into the park’s management plan will help ensure that the park remains a real and inspiring part of the Canadian landscape:
1. Subscribe to the management planning email list to receive newsletter and updates about opportunities to participate.
2. Attend a Public Session:
- May 9 - Saturna Island Recreation Centre Lounge - 4:30 - 7:30 pm
- May 23 - Pender Island Community Hall - 4:30 - 7:30 pm
- May 26 - Mayne Island Agricultural Hall - 12:00 -3:00 pm
- May 31 - Vancouver SFU Morris J Wosk Centre for Dialogue - 3:00 - 6:00 pm
3. Information booths are being planned in Victoria, Sidney and on Salt Spring Island. Details will be available soon.
