Waterton Wildflower Festival

Friday June 19 - Saturday June 27

Join in a variety of activities celebrating Waterton's spectacular wildlfowers.

Event Schedule and Online Reservations

Canada Day

July 1, free entry!

10.30 a.m. Meet at the Waterton United Church to participate in the bike parade.

11 a.m. Bike parade.

11.30 a.m. Flag-raising ceremony at the Waterton Community Centre. Free cake and lemonade. $3 hot dog lunch. Children’s activities.

1 p.m. Geocaching 101 at the Heritage Centre. Learn the basics of geocaching.

2 p.m. Eyes on the Skies at the Community Kitchen Shelter. Meet the interpreter for kite-flying activities.

4 p.m. Performance of Sunk at Lion's Hall (free, all ages). Waterton Teenie Weenie Theatre Company.

8 p.m. Evening theatre programs. Night Sky National Park at Falls Theatre. CSI Waterton at Crandell Theatre.

In collaboration with Waterton Park Community Association and Waterton Natural History Association.

Join us as we go to outer space and beyond! Explore all things astronomy with volunteers from Calgary RASC and Montana Star Watch.

Waterton-Glacier Science and History Day

In Glacier National Park (USA)
July 28 

Parks Canada and the USA National Park Service invite you to our annual Waterton-Glacier Science and History Day. This year’s event is in Glacier National Park on Tuesday, July 28, from 9:30 am until 3:30 pm at the West Glacier Community Building. The event is open to the public and free of charge. Science and History Day is a great way for people to hear the latest results from scientists and historians carrying out projects in and around the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park.

Blackfoot Arts and Heritage Festival

Participate in traditional and contemporary aboriginal dancing, music, art, and cuisine.
