Thank you to all our partners and volunteers who helped out with a variety of events in 2014.

A bike parade and cake marked Canada’s birthday. Kudos to Waterton Park Community Association for a wonderful community lunch.

The Waterton Natural History Association and volunteer astronomers from Lethbridge made the most of cloudy skies for an indoor astronomy presentation by Alan Dyer.

Cool, cloudy weather hampered night sky viewing in August, we appreciate the support of volunteers from Big Sky Astronomy Club in Montana here.

At the Blackfoot Arts and Heritage Festival, participants enjoyed beading, drumming and dance workshops. The event was capped off by a traditional demonstration pow wow. This event is organized in cooperation with the Blackfoot Canadian Cultural Society in Lethbridge.

Over 130 cyclists participated in this year’s Ride the Red Rock / Take a Kid Mountain Biking day. Everyone enjoyed the Wieners of Waterton hot dog BBQ. Volunteers, including Headwinds Cycling Club helped make this event successful despite a cold wet morning. Draw prizes from The International Mountain Bike Association, Mountain Equipment Coop and Bert and Mac’s Source for Sports were greatly appreciated.

Stay tuned for exciting events in the planning stages for 2015.
