Step outside the ordinary into a fresh air wilderness adventure.

As a year-round camping destination, Jasper welcomes every set up, from a one-person bivy tent to a 40-foot motor home. Choose your camping style. Want a rugged backcountry experience below glaciated peaks? Looking for a forested family camping spot close to town? Jasper welcomes you! Try the signature oTENTiks—part tent, part cozy cabin—with comfortable bunks and mattresses, a wood floor, table and chairs, and your own front porch. Just bring sleeping bags/sheets and food for outdoor cooking.

Tucked away along the shores of iconic Maligne Lake, you’ll find the new Hidden Cove Family Canoe Camp, a “backcountry” campground created with beginner canoeists and kayakers in mind. Aspiring paddlers follow a short, five kilometre route along the shoreline, entirely in protected waters. It’s perfect for family groups with children or seniors.

Most campsites are open in summer only. Wapiti campground remains open in winter, with electrical hook-up and hot showers.
