Elk Island National Park provides opportunities for the public to understand, appreciate and enjoy its heritage resources in ways which are consistent with the protection of these resources. Activities such as hiking, camping, and wildlife viewing are consistent with Parks Canada's mandate to ensure that Park visitors continue to have quality experiences in National Parks. Visitor activities are located throughout the park; services and facilities are concentrated in the Astotin Lake Area.
