Wolves put on a lot of miles, covering vast areas in search of prey as they pass through their territory. Often territories overlap and packs and individuals will roam back and forth in a fluid social order that determines, for example, the ‘Alpha male and female’ or even demonstrates banishment from the pack: ‘ the lone wolf.’
