First Bear of Spring

This big male grizzly was photographed on March 16^th by remote camera in the lower Bow Valley. Male grizzlies can be out of their dens quite early in the spring.

It's a great reminder that we're entering bear season, and it's time to brush up on bear safety and ensure all bear attractants are stored indoors.
