Banff National Park

Interpretive Programs & Events

We invite you to discover what makes Banff National Park so special!

From late June to early September, join park interpreters for enlightening evening theatre programs, or look for us at popular natural and historical attractions as you explore the park. While driving the park’s secondary roadways, watch for the Bear Guardians as they provide insight into Banff’s bear population. Bring us your questions and together we’ll further ignite your passion for all that makes this place incredible!

These programs are included in your park admission fee. You do not have to be staying in the campground to attend, all visitors and residents welcome!

Xplorers Program

Parks Canada’s Xplorers program provides fun activities for families to learn about national parks and national historic sites. By completing a collector’s booklet, children will receive an achievement certificate and souvenir.
