Yoho National Park is home to many lakes but few are warm enough to swim in. Most lakes in Yoho are fed by glacial runoff – ice water and silt that give the bodies of water here a brilliant turquoise hue. Faeder Lake is relatively shallow and will warm to tolerable temperatures. It is a beautiful spot for intrepid swimmers on hot summer days.
