Shorebirds at Pacific Rim National Park Reserve

Pacific Rim National Park Reserve on Vancouver Island, BC, is a crucial refuelling stop for migrating shorebirds along the Pacific Flyway migration route. Keeping your dogs on-leash prevents the birds from being scared away from vital feeding and resting times, disturbances which could lead to them being too weak to reproduce once they reach their summer destination.
