This video captures a student’s summer experience working at Pacific Rim National Park Reserve on the west coast of British Columbia. It involves the removal of invasive species, planting of the endangered pink sand-verbena and searching for the endangered sand-verbena moth on the dunes of Wickaninnish Beach at night. Adventures include a helicopter ride to a beach on the West Coast trail as well as participating in other park monitoring projects. The video also portrays visitor experiences at2 the park such as surfing and climbing mountains for a bird’s eye view of the Broken Group Islands and the Pacific Ocean.
