Quttinirpaaq National Park in Nunavut is Canada’s most northerly National Park. This canoeing footage was taken just 750 km from the North Pole on the Ward Hunt ice shelf, where summer melting creates shallow pools and channels on the surface of the ice. During the brief arctic summer on Ellesmere Island, the sun remains high in the sky bathing the land in continuous daylight.
