Male voice off screen: I went to a youth symposium in Nain and I just seen a presentation there, like applications and whatnot, and it sounded kind of interesting and I’d never been up here before and I wanted to give it a shot so I tried and I got chosen.

Male voice off screen: Usually when researchers go out to set up something they just always ask for a helping hand or whatever.

My name is Paul Andersen, I’m from Croc , Labrador and I’m 16 years old.

[Brenda helping set up weather station]
My name is Brenda Jararuse, I’m from Nain Labrador and right now we are in the Ivitak watershed.

Paul Andrerson: Brenda and Chantal were setting up a weather station and me and Jacko were setting up an electrical fence around the weather station just to keep the weather station safe from black bears and polar bears.

Paul Anderson: When I was doing it with Jacko he really showed me how it works and whatnot.

Brenda Jararuse: Being here, like actually being here has made me think of getting more of an outdoors job. The student program is going awesome, I love it.
