The S.S. Klondike is located on the banks of the Yukon River on the outskirts of downtown Whitehorse. A pedestrian trail following the Yukon River is a pleasant way to reach the site from downtown or Robert Service Campground. Alternately, you can get to the site via Whitehorse Transit bus or by taking the Waterfront Trolley that operates during the summer. If you choose to drive to the site there is ample parking with pull through stalls for RVs and trailers.

Whitehorse is easily accessed by air from Vancouver, Kelowna, Edmonton, Calgary and Ottawa. Many visitors take the Alaska Highway from B.C., Alberta or Alaska.
