Red Chairs come to the S.S. Klondike!

The Red Chairs Experience Program is intended to provide opportunities to connect with nature, and to experience the most unique and treasured places within Canada. Visitors are encouraged to seek out the “Red Chairs” to enjoy these special places and to share their experience through social media and other communication channels.

There are two sets of Red Chairs located on the S.S. Klondike grounds.

German Self Guiding Brochure

As of the summer of 2016 the S.S. Klondike self-guiding brochure will be available in German as well as English and French.

On-site Interpretive Panels

New interpretive panels will be installed on the S.S. Klondike grounds and historic photo panels on board will complement the curatorial displays.

Now you will be able to buy official Parks Canada merchandise unique to the S.S. Klondike!

Look out for pins, hats, T shirts, neck warmers, water bottles, and decals with a colourful sternwheeler design, available at the Visitor Reception Centre during the 2016 summer season. There's also a selection of merchandise for sale at the Whitehorse office of Parks Canada (205-300 Main St) all year round.
