Chilkoot Trail National Historic Site of Canada welcomes geocachers. There is currently one official geocache on the Canadian side of the trail. Visit www.geocaching.com and search for geocache code GC1T823 to obtain the coordinates.

Waymarking

There are also two waymarks on the Canadian side of the trail. For coordinates visit www.waymarking.com and search for waymark codes WM5W30 and WM5XC3.

Geocachers must travel on marked and maintained trails at all times and ensure that natural and cultural resources are not disturbed. Geocachers pay all applicable park user fees. Geocachers are encouraged to visit the Leave no Trace website at www.leavenotrace.ca. This website offers helpful principles for planning safe and environmentally respectful outdoor recreation activities.
