Facilities and Services

Special Needs Services:

  • Electric scooters are available.
  • All buildings are wheelchair accessible.

The Visitor Reception Centre acts as an orientation area.

Picnic tables and washroom facilities are adjacent to the site.

A modern interpretive display is housed within Barracks Five located just outside the Visitor Reception Centre. There are four original buildings inside the fort, furnished with period-correct pieces.

Accommodations, service stations, restaurants and shopping are all within five minutes driving distance of the fort.
