The white-washed Commanding Officer’s house stands tall under endless prairie skies as the winding North Saskatchewan river flows by and scarlet serge-clad soldiers march past on parade. From the home of one of the divisions of the newly-formed North West Mounted Police to capital of the Northwest Territories, connect to Canada’s recent past.

Fort Battleford is open Monday to Friday in May and June and 7 days a week in July and August
