The Friends of Batoche are happy to present your kids with a super awesome, fun-filled and jam-packed day that includes a petting zoo, bouncy castles, GIANT slide, wagon rides, children’s activities, music, and more!

Come pass the baton in Batoche! Whether you are an athlete looking for a NEW challenge or simply looking for a fun filled family day! There will be live music, kids’ activities, pavilions, family fun, and of course, the race! For fun or competition - youth or adult - all are welcome!

10:00 am: 5 km Fun Run
1:00 pm: Pie Eating Contest
6:00 pm: Concert Series featuring Aaron Pritchett,
Julian Austin and Donny Parenteau


10:30 am: Competitive Relay & Individual Adventure Race (longer race for those that seek excitement and a challenge)
2:30 pm: Recreational Relay (shorter race ideal for family groups, business and organizations and all those looking for a fun group activity)

 Early bird registration deadline is July 20th.

Earlybird Incentive: Race fee includes weekend event access and concert pass (teams are entry for 6 people) if registered and paid prior to July 20. After July 20th your registration will only include event access.

Partner Events in the Area

Back to Batoche Days

Join our partners July 14-17 for a cultural weekend of celebrating Métis heritage. Enjoy exciting events at the Back to Batoche Festival Grounds like chuckwagon and chariot races; jigging, horseshoe, and bannock competitions; as well as a variety of artisan goods and crafts.

There will be a mass at the St. Antoine de Padoue church of Batoche on July 14th at 3:00pm.

Special programming and activities will be available at both the Batoche National Historic Site, and the Back to Batoche Festival Grounds located 1km north of Batoche.
