Louis Riel Relay and Kidfest

Saturday, July 8
Get ready, get set, have fun with family and friends! Two events in one, means TWICE the fun for all ages. Don’t miss the popular Saskatoon berry pie eating contest, line up for archery practice and try canoeing. The day’s highlights are the Louis Riel Relays and Kidfest, while live music, bannock tasting and food vendors round out the festivities.

Louis Riel Relay: Register your team early for the Louis Riel Relay. Choose from competitive, recreational or kids adventure relay, which include canoeing, horseback riding, pack running, biking and running. Costumes welcome! This event brings new, unique twists to a classic Saskatoon event that you won’t want to miss!

Kidfest! Your kids will have an awesome, fun-filled day like nowhere else, as they are hosted in part by authentically costumed staff, while getting their face painted and arms tattooed, not to mention bouncing up a storm on the inflatables, meeting cute animals at the petting zoo, playing traditional games and much more.

Louis Riel Relay and Kidfest is brought to you in collaboration with the Friends of Batoche. Relay registrations begin early. Stay tuned for details!

Special event, program or rental fees may apply.
