1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.: Last summer’s exhibition "Murmures" by Christian Paquette (works distributed in the enchanted forest) will be back and the launch of "Incursion" exhibition by Marlyn Rannou in collaboration with Bernard Giraudon, funded by La Commission Culturelle du Témiscamingue, La Caldo and Parks Canada (Unique pictures and archival documents of Fort Témiscamingue in the time of Hutchison and Mc Camus families, site’s owners between 1918 and 1955).

All afternoon: Cake, tea and scones will be served

1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.: Crafting and painting workshop for children with Miss Margaret

2:00 p.m.-3:30 p.m.: An afternoon of music with Jamie Dupuis, author, composer, performer (guitar, harp guitar)

In association with Caldo and the Municipality of Duhamel-Ouest, Fort Témiscamingue National Historic Site is planning a grand celebration!

  • "Smoked Pig" Hut (fries, sandwiches Between $8 and $15)
  • Pea soup in the teepee
  • Inflatable games
  • Carriage rides
  • Face-painting
  • Music
  • Kite-making

Rain or shine, come celebrate with the family, let the children get their face-painted, enjoy the inflatable games, participate in the kite-making workshop, then fly your new creation over majestic Lake Témiscamingue!

August 13, 1 to 4 p.m.

In the spirit of the Foire Gourmande de Ville-Marie festivities, come and enjoy traditional Algonquin meals featuring moose meat, goose, and sturgeon, accompanied by bannock (an algonquin bread). Also, come see products made by Algonquin artisans.

From 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. attend a performance of original compositions and popular music with Sabrina Charlebois, accompanied by Dave Sauvé.
