  • Launch of the summer exhibitions “Murmures” by Christain Paquette (artwork in the Enchanted Forest) and “Manteaux de plumes” by Michel Villeneuve (illustrations of regional birds)
  • A musical afternoon with young talents from the Marcel-Raymond school
  • Crafting and painting workshop for children with Lyse Marcotte
  • Cake, tea, and scones will be offered

In association with Caldo and the Municipality of Duhamel-Ouest, Fort Témiscamingue National Historic Site is planning a grand celebration!

  • Free picnic (hot dogs, cheese, bannik bread, scones)
  • Inflatable games
  • Carriage ride
  • Face-painting
  • Circus workshop
  • Kite-making

Enjoy a family picnic, face-painting, circus workshops, and kite-making, then fly your new creation over majestic Lake Timiskaming!

In the spirit of the Foire Gourmande de Ville-Marie festivities, come and enjoy traditional Algonquin meals featuring moose meat, goose, and sturgeon, accompanied by bannock—all and a Pocket cake (curing in water), lovingly prepared by Rose-Anna McDougall and her team.

Also, come and attend a performance of native dances offered by a group of the Timiskaming First Nation.
