From mid-May to mid-October
Immersion tours are are a great way to dive into the history of Fort Lennox and experiencing the daily lives of soldiers in the 19th century.
On your arrival, adopt a fictional identity of a member of the garrison and go through the Fort’s buildings to discover numerous challenges. On your path, you will encounter people in period dress who will be able to answer your questions and help you discover their daily lives. Challenges to be met independently also allow you to select your own route.
You cannot simply be a spectator here – you become totally involved! In this way, you can become familiar with life as it was in the heart of the 24th British regiment and, if you play your cards right as a model soldier and successfully complete four of your six challenges, you will leave with your daily pay, one British shilling.
