Flavours from the Farmers’ Market

Every Saturday, from June 6 to September 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Saturday is market day at the fort!

You will find producers offering their local products, such as artisanal breads and fresh fruits and vegetables.

Take advantage of the site’s charming setting by having a picnic. There is something to tantalize everyone's taste buds!

A Flavourful Farmers’ Market

The farmers' market in Coteau-du-Lac will overflow with flavour during Quebec's Public Market Week.

At the market, visitors can show for fresh fruits and vegetables and local produce of all sorts. They can also participate in the Largest Picnic Challenge. How? All they need to do is bring their cutlery and they can enjoy their lunch on the giant tablecoth spread out aross the lawn. Families can complete their meals with corn on the cob, which is offered free of charge.

Canada Day

July 1st, from 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Canada Day at Coteau-du-Lac National Historic Site is now a must. Celebrate this event by participating in family activities.

2 p.m. to 5 p.m.: Inflatable games, costumed interpretation, children’s rally and face painting
3 p.m.: Tasting Canada Day cake
5 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Animation and show, kiosks of community organizations
8 p.m.: Musical show
10 p.m.: Fireworks

Across the country, Parks Canada places hold fun, educational, family-oriented events and activities to highlight the important role that parks play in maintaining healthy and resilient ecosystems, protecting critical habitat for species at risk and contributing to human health and well-being.

At the Coteau-du-Lac National Historic Site

The archeological and environmental kiosks are open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the duration of the farmers’ market.
