Chambly Canal National Historic Site
Visiting Chambly
Chambly is a town rich in history. Visit the Fort Chambly National Historic Site to see for yourself, then stroll along Richelieu Street next to the river to the east of the park. During the summer, the street becomes pedestrian only, and you can admire many historic 18th-century houses. You’ll also want to stop at the well-preserved little St. Stephen Church.
On nice days in the summer, the heritage guides Au pays de Chambly offer tours of this old part of Chambly.
For more information about their services, call 450-447-7412.
And for all that the City of Chambly has to offer, visit the municipality’s Web site at www.ville.chambly.qc.ca (French only).
