Les Défis du Parc-Nordique

Organized by Cyclo-Mauricie, La Mauricie National Park’s Les Défis du Parc-Nordique (French website only) brings cross-country skiers and snowshoers out to enjoy some friendly competition. The three-day event features several timed activities for classic and freestyle cross-country skiers, snowshoers and runners.
La Mauricie National Park Kiosk
La Mauricie National Park staff will run a kiosk throughout the weekend to provide information about the activities and services available at the park.
Some cross-country trails will be closed during the event in order to provide participants with the best possible conditions.
February 21: Between 8:30 am and 1:00 pm, several hundred children will be using a portion of trail 6 between Rivière-à-la-Pêche and Bouchard Lake as part of tackling their challenge! As well, trail 6A will be closed for the day.
February 22: Trail 6 in the Rivière-à-la-Pêche area will be the starting point of several sporting events between 9:30 am and 10 am. That day, the public will enjoy access to the trail prior to 9 am and after 10 am. The portion of the trail 6, between Bouchard Lake and Du Pimbina shelter, will be closed from 9:30 am to noon. Trail 11 will be closed for the day.
February 23: Trail 6A will be closed for the day.
