At the corner of Pitt and St-Patrick streets, this grand venue on the Lachine Canal is ideal for outdoor performances.
It is easily accessible by public transportation and only a few minutes from downtown Montreal. Parks Canada’s Esplanade du Centenaire at the Lachine Canal also offers a beautiful view of downtown.

Montreal Folk Festival on the Canal

Presented by Parks Canada and Mountain Equipment Co-op, the fourth Learn to Camp week-end is
taking place at the same time as the 7th Montreal Folk Festival on the Canal.
Îlot Charlevoix will
be transformed into a campground for a weekend bursting with fun activities.
The Montreal Folk Festival on the Canal is a public event where you have the opportunity to discover folk,
traditional and acoustic music performed by internationally renowned and up-and-coming artists from Quebec.

The Village Éphémère at the Peel Basin

Parks Canada and the Association du design urbain du Québec invite you to the
Village Éphémère (temporary village)
event taking place at the Peel Basin.
The village will be divided into three zones – market, terrace, and lookout – and will feature the works of renowned artists and designers in the field of urban planning, as well as street food with food trucks.
Come enjoy the area by taking part in the creation of urban design installations or by simply visiting the Village Éphémère.
