Film Noir on the Canal

July 10th to August 14th

Due to work currently being carried out by the Sud-Ouest borough on Parks Canada's grounds, the film projections have been moved to the Saint-Patrick Square (corner of Saint-Patrick and Wellington streets).

Beginning July 10th, the banks of the Lachine Canal will be transformed into a setting worthy of the best cop thrillers of the 40s, 50s and 60s, as part of the Film noir au canal series (only in French). Building on last year’s success, this cop cult film festival is back for a second year and will offer free outdoor film screenings over the course of six Sundays. A few new things await you this edition!

The exact location and show times of the film screenings, which are accessible via the Lachine Canal’s path, will be revealed over the course of the season. For the detailed film schedule, visit (only in French).
