Woodside National Historic Site presents traditional Thanksgiving in the Victorian Era. The boyhood home of William Lyon Mackenzie King, is decorated for the harvest season. Assorted autumn fruits, berries, and grains are tastefully arranged to make colourful centrepieces. What better place to prepare you and your family for your Thanksgiving meal than by stepping back into 1891. The estate will be ablaze with fall colours, perfect for a picnic, an afternoon stroll or picture taking. Explore the site at your leisure, enjoy crafts and special activities.

Savour the seasonal delights of a Victorian Christmas and learn how the King family celebrated this festive time of year. Feel the magic of the season as you walk through the richly decorated rooms of Woodside in its Victorian splendor!

Discover the enchantment of a Christmas morning reminiscent of the Victorian past. Decorate your very own cookie ornament to hang on your tree. Dip a pen in ink and write a letter to Santa Claus while sampling seasonal cookies and apple cider. Admission: $7.80 per person. This program requires advance registration as space is limited. Behold the splendour of a Woodside Christmas by the soft glow of lamplight. Cozy up under the mistletoe and enjoy hot apple cider.
