Trent-Severn Waterway National Historic Site of Canada

Mobile Crews during the shoulder season

During the peak visitor season, Parks Canada will end the use of mobile crews and will provide “upon arrival” service at all lock stations and bridge stations along the Trent-Severn Waterway. This service will be implemented as soon as possible.

Mobile crews on the Trent-Severn Waterway were first utilized in 1997. The Mobile crews service will continue to operate multiple lock stations, conducting lockages within a grouping. Each lock station operated by mobile crews will be equipped with a phone number that will connect the boater to the lock staff, in order to be provided with an estimated lockage time.
