Tours and Programs

The stories of the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site are the stories of Halifax. They span generations and reveal the history of our city. From the lives of the soldiers who were stationed here to tales of the spirit world, there is much to discover. We’re delighted to share it with you on our tours and programs.
 
There are guided tours of the Halifax Citadel that start at the Information Centre throughout the day. Or, experience the chills and thrills of our popular Ghost Tour, which is offered select evenings from July to October. The Xplorers program is a new way for kids to discover the Citadel, and the Soldier for a Day program is a three-hour historic immersion for visitors of all ages.
