Saturday September 12th – Port-Royal Fun Family Festival
Port-Royal National Historic Site
Visitors are invited to come, explore and enjoy an afternoon of entertainment at the Port-Royal Habitation and its grounds. From 1-4pm, catch great local musicians, including Harvey Marcotte, Andy & Ariana and World Drumming. Learn more about the Port-Royal story through Samuel de Champlain and enjoy a traditional Mi'kmaw welcoming song. Don’t miss the children’s activities, and a guest visit by Parka, Parks Canada’s mascot (and everyone’s favourite beaver)! Site entry on this day is pre-paid courtesy of the Municipality of the County of Annapolis.
Visitors are encouraged to bring a lawn chair, a percussion instrument and a picnic! In case of rain, the entertainment will be held at the Lower Granville Community Hall, 3551 Granville Road.
