Saturday, April 19th - Annapolis Royal ‘Eggstravaganza’ and Easter Egg Hunt 
Join Parka the Beaver and the Easter Bunny who will help children 5-10 years old explore the grounds at Fort Anne National Historic Site to seek out the elusive eggs in the Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt. Guaranteed fun for kids of all ages! 11 am – 12 noon, rain or shine!

Tuesday, July 1st Canada Day – FREE ADMISSION
Fort Anne National Historic Site

Join in the official celebrations with the Town of Annapolis Royal and Fort Anne National Historic Site. Don’t miss the singing of “O Canada” at the flag raising ceremony, walk in the procession from the Town Hall to Fort Anne, enjoy a slice of delicious Canada Day cake, play a game of croquet, listen to the musical entertainment and take part in children’s activities. Noon-3pm.

Sunday, July 13th - Mi’kmaq Heritage Day
Port-Royal National Historic Site

An afternoon filled with Mi’kmaw traditions, history, drumming, song and lifestyle. Learn to sing a Mi’kmaw song, play a game of ‘waltes’ all within the walls of an authentic wigwam. 1pm-4pm.

August 1-3rd - Natal Day Encampment
Fort Anne National Historic Site

Step back in time to the early 18th century and experience what life would have been like for the soldiers and their families during this tumultuous time in history. Listen to the stories and hear the crack of a rifle, the smell of the black powder....who said history can’t be fun!

Sunday, August 10th - Reconstruction Day
Port-Royal National Historic Site

Join local Craftsmen as they share their knowledge of the building of the Habitation. Parks Canada’s first major reconstruction was a milestone in the preservation movement in Canada – don’t miss the opportunity to learn more about this valuable and historic treasure. 1pm- 4pm.
