Every year thousands of whales migrate to the waters off Newfoundland and Labrador to feed. Cape Spear Lighthouse National Historic Site is one of the premier locations to sit and take in the spectacle these giants put on each summer. In celebration of their arrival off our shores, Cape Spear Lighthouse National Historic Site will host on Sunday, June 23, 2013 from 10am-4pm, its third annual 'Whale Festival' with special events, exhibits, whale watching and more!

Dinner in the Lighthouse:
In partnership with the Restaurant Association of Newfoundland, and local restaurants, Cape Spear Lighthouse National Historic Site is pleased to once again offer dinners in the lighthouse. Starting on the 23rd of June running every Sunday at 630pm until September 15, join us for a once in a lifetime opportunity; complete with the sun setting through the windows of the historic lighthouse, a delicious dinner and Newfoundland music, it is sure to be an unforgettable evening. A Newfoundland Afternoon at the Cape
