Groups planning a visit to the site are encouraged to reserve in advance by contacting park staff. This ensures that each group receives the best possible service.
Services Available
- Viewing of a recently produced 12 minute introductory film that provides an excellent overview of the history of the site.
- A tour through the centre's exhibits by one of the site's knowledgeable interpreters.
- Interpretive tours to the archaeological site of Phillip's Garden are possible when reserved and confirmed in advance.
- Reduced rates for groups, and complimentary passes for the bus driver and tour director.
- Gift Shop with a wide selection of Newfoundland products.
- Bilingual guide service is available (English/French).
- Information on other historic sites and parks, as well as other attractions and services of the area including the Labrador ferry service.
