Information Services

Information about The Forks National Historic Site, as well as other National Parks and National Historic Sites across Canada, is available at the Parks Canada Kiosk in the Explore Manitoba Centre, located in the Johnston Terminal at The Forks.

Notices about special events and interpretive experiences are also posted on The Forks bulletin board, located at the Orientation Circle.

The Forks National Historic Site is fully accessible to persons with physical or mobility disabilities: access to the riverwalk is by ramp and all paths are graded for a worry-free visit.

There are several parking lots at The Forks, all of which are operated by The Forks North Portage Partnership. Please be sure to note how long you are permitted to park, since the lots are regularly checked by a parking patrol.

There are public washrooms on site in the Orientation Circle (open seasonally) as well as in The Forks Market and Johnston Terminal.
