The Parks Canada Information Desk opens for the season. Come by and visit! We'll be more than happy to tell you about school programs, general tours, and more!

June 3-23: Urban Treaty Days

Treaty annuity payments may be collected by eligible First Nations people from Manitoba during these times:

Dates: June 3-23, 2016 (Monday to Friday)
Time: 12 noon to 5 p.m.
Location: The Forks National Historic Site, south of the Provencher Bridge and east of the Festival Stage.

Everyone is invited to learn more about the historic treaties made between First Nations and the Crown. We are all party to the treaties.

June 9-12: The Winnipeg International Children’s Festival

Take a trip through history with Parks Canada at the Variety Heritage Adventure Park. Join us for games and colouring, then journey through the Adventure Park! Scale the Fort Gibraltar walls, ride in the Red River Cart, or hop aboard The Countess of Dufferin train and imagine traveling across the sunny prairies.

Celebrate Canada's birthday with Parks Canada! Visit our tent near the Variety Heritage Adventure Park for crafts, colouring, games, cookies, and more.

July 1-7: Canada History Week

Come by the Parks Canada Kiosk to learn more about The Forks’ greatest stories.
