Rogers Pass National Historic Site of Canada

Hours and Seasons of Operation

The Rogers Pass Discovery Centre is open year-round, except for Christmas Day, and is closed mid-October to mid-November. The Centre is the only facility in the national historic site open during the spring and winter, while the self-guiding trails, exhibits and picnic areas lie under a two metre blanket of snow. Loop Brook, 1885, Glacier House and Abandoned Rails trails open as early in the year as the snowpack allows. Delays in trail openings may occur when bears are present in the area or when snow has caused damage to trail structures. Generally these trails are open by late June and remain open until the autumn snowfall.
