How to Get to Rogers Pass National Historic Site
To avoid disappointment, we recommend that visitors planning a trip to Rogers Pass National Historic Site during the spring and autumn shoulder seasons (April, May, June, September, October) contact us by phone or e-mail for the latest information on facility openings and closings.
Rogers Pass is located at the centre of Glacier National Park, and is accessible by car or bus on the Trans-Canada Highway. The Rogers Pass Discovery Centre (near the summit of the pass) is 342 km from Calgary and 643 km from Vancouver. The nearest communities are Golden, 80 km east of the pass and Revelstoke, 72 km to the west. The nearest commercial airports are at Kelowna, Kamloops and Calgary.
Please Note: Vehicle fuel will be unavailable at Rogers Pass until further notice. Fuel is available in the city of Revelstoke and the town of Golden.
