Is your family ready to experience the Canadian tradition of a campfire? Now you can join an entertaining interpreter for an evening of laughs, photo opportunities and tasty treats within the safe setting of Fort Langley National Historic Site.

Royal Engineers Evening Campfire

Experience the excitement of 1858, the year British Columbia became a colony. Sign a gold license, pan for gold and roast bannock over a fire. Apprentice as a Royal Engineer and try your aim using an airsoft musket. Take home your souvenir target!

Voyageur Evening Campfire

Is the rugged life of an HBC voyageur for you? Tie on a Métis sash, carry a fur bale and roast bannock over a crackling fire. Learn the songs of the voyageurs as you play the wooden spoons and lift the spirits of your peers after a long day's work. Bring home a souvenir bandana.

Tickets are available in advance.

Dates:

  • Select Saturday evenings in May, June and September
  • Select Wednesdays and Saturdays in July and August. Please verify campfire dates on the ticket link above.

Tickets:

  • Family: $35
  • Adult/Senior: $15.10
  • Youth (age 6-16): $7.80
  • Child (age 3-5): $3.90
  • Age 2 and younger: free
  • Tickets are also available at the door, though entry is dependent upon available seating.
  • NOTE: Booking a night in an oTENTik? Evening campfire programs are included in the price on nights they are offered.

Meals:

  • Families are encouraged to bring their own picnics or marshmallows to roast over the fire.
