Campfire programs

COMING MAY 10! Join in an evening of laughs, photo opportunities and tasty treats. Choose from two themes, and be sure to register for your spot in advance. Tickets available online.

Xplorers

Company of Adventurers

COMING MAY 3! Join the Company of Adventurers. Families wanted! Bring your sense of adventure and play the part of an 1800s Hudson’s Bay Company worker. Dress up and try out blacksmithing, barrel-making, trading and even being the boss. Kids will receive a certificate and a souvenir as tokens of their success, along with unforgettable memories.

Daily Activities

(April to June)

  • 12:00 pm: Blacksmith Demonstration
  • 3:00 pm: Coopering Demonstration
  • Climb the rustic bastion towers, and enjoy a peaceful view of the Fraser River.
  • Pan for gold and build the walls of the playhouse.

Weekend Activities

(Saturdays & Sundays, April to June)

  • 10:30 am: The Storehouse – learn about Fort Langley's only original building.
  • 12:30 pm: Stories of the Fort – The boat builders, the voyageurs, the farmers. Cozy up around the fire and come learn about the fascinating lives of the many employees that helped make Fort Langley such a success.
  • 2:00 pm: Musket Demonstration
  • 3:00 pm: Eureka – The gold rush of 1858 brought with it 30,000 gold miners to the gates of Fort Langley. Discover what life was like for the prospectors and then try your hand at gold panning, you might just strike it rich!
  • 4:30 pm: Closing time at the Trading Post – witness the lowering of the flag with song.
