Located inside the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site, the winter market offers visitors a chance to browse through tantalizing baked and prepared goods and artisan crafts.

Second annual "Best Catch" Sustainable Seafood Festival
The second annual "Best Catch" Sustainable Seafood Festival will be held in Steveston at the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site on Saturday, September 14 from Noon to 4:00 pm. Best Catch will help you discover which seafood choices are best for the planet and demonstrations by top chefs like Ian Lai and Karen Barnaby will show you what is tastiest for the plate! The cooking demonstrations will take place at the top of each hour, and there will be a variety of musical acts performing on the half hour. After visiting “Best Catch” stroll down to the public wharf and pick up some fresh seafood and try one of the demonstration recipes when you get home.
Kids won't be left out of the fun, there will be carnival games and children's crafts and admission to the Cannery will be Free. For more details visit www.bestcatchfestival.org
