Come and make art inspired by your historic and natural surroundings--join an artist from the Coast Collective Art Centre. Let your creativity soar with a sketching trip to the lighthouse, a 'plein aire' painting lesson, or temporary artwork on the beach at low tide! All materials supplied.

Ready, aim… now it’s your turn! Do you have what it takes to be a skilled soldier? With a battery-powered Airsoft replica Tommy gun, proceed to the custom-designed safety range and challenge yourself and others. Focus, be still and precise. Single shot or full automatic? Who will hit the bull’s-eye first? Claim your bragging rights with your take-home customized target.

Come and join a Parks Canada naturalist in the Garry Oak Learning Meadow – a tranquil one-acre restored native plant garden surrounded by the hustle and bustle of Fort Rodd Hill. Discover the native species that grow in Garry Oak ecosystems and the way First Nations people, and later Canadian soldiers, used them in their everyday lives.
