June 19 & 20 – Performance in the Park

Cascade Gardens in Banff National Park transforms into a family-oriented weekend of live music and spectacular scenery. July 1st - Canada Day

Originally called Dominion Day in 1867, the holiday was renamed in 1982, the year the Canada Act was passed. Today, Canadians celebrate this national holiday in many ways. Banff National Park invites you to explore the park by hiking, biking, canoeing, camping, kayaking, climbing, picnicking, wildlife viewing or visiting one of our many cultural attractions.

July 18th - Parks Day

First celebrated in 1990, Canada’s Parks Day is an opportunity for Canadians to participate in unique and fun events taking place in Canada’s first national park.

September 2015 - Lake Louise Fall Festival

Feast your eyes on the changing colours of the forest and enjoy unique activities, events, programs and outdoor recreation to celebrate the changing of the season.
