Cannery Farmers’ Market
Held indoors in the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site, this winter market offers visitors the chance to wander among tables featuring local produce, baked goods, preserves and handcrafted items. Check for details on canneryfarmersmarket.org
Spring Break at the Cannery
Join our family-friendly activities throughout Spring Break, March 12 to 25. There will be fishing-themed activity stations throughout the historic cannery, with stamps to collect along the way. Don’t forget to pick up a Parks Canada Xplorers booklet for fun activities to do in the Cannery, with a souvenir prize when you’re done! The Xplorers activity booklet is complimentary with all Youth admissions.

Easter at the Cannery!
Join the annual Easter Scavenger Hunt inside the Cannery museum for prizes, kids’ activities and more. Look for appearances by the Easter Salmon!

Feature Exhibit "Women on the Homefront – Women’s contributions during World War II"
With thousands of Canadian men overseas, it was the women of Canada who harvested the crops, kept factories running, looked after the children, and raised money for the war. Women on the Homefront explores the contributions women made to the war effort at the Gulf of Georgia Cannery, in Steveston, and inside their homes.
Canada Day at the Cannery/ Steveston Salmon Festival
Free Admission. Join in the fun during the Canada Day Parade and Steveston Salmon Festival.

Music Nights at the Cannery
Join us every Friday evening for our outdoor summer concert series. A wide range of musical tastes will be represented. Admission by donation ($5 and up).

Halloween at the Cannery
Our popular Halloween tours inside the historic cannery site will run October 22, 23, 29 and 30. Fun for the entire family! Ticketed admission – details TBA
Santa at the Cannery / Christmas in Steveston
The holiday spirit comes to Steveston with the arrival of Santa by boat! After his arrival, Santa will make his way to the Cannery to take photos with the kids!
