Think that you might ready to experience the pleasure of camping overnight but just need a helping hand? Parks Canada is hosting learn-to camp events across Canada. These events will offer Canadians the opportunity to learn how to plan and enjoy safe and successful camping trips.
Events will feature workshops that will focus on camping related skills such as how to set up a tent or how to cook in the outdoors. Participants will also have the opportunity to enjoy inspiring interpretive programs and other Parks Canada activities. Come spend the night and enjoy the experience of camping!

Each year, the National Urban Learn-to Camp Event presented by Parks Canada and Mountain Equipment Co-op invites new campers to coordinated Learn-to Camp events across the country. This year, events will take place on June 16th and 17th at the following locations:
