Paint the town green this summer and experience Canada's parks with Parks Canada and friends BC Parks, as both celebrate their 100 birthday this year. Bring the entire family down to one of Vancouver's most beloved places, Stanley Park, and join in the celebrations:
- Take in a free outdoor concert with international sensation K'Naan, whose hit Wavin' Flag worked up crowds at the 2010 Winter Games and 2010 FIFA World Cup.
The Sheepdogs
- Don't miss Saskatoon's The Sheepdogs, with their a jaw-dropping mix of old school rock, psychedelic sounds and heart-shaking boogie and Virgin Radio's "Best of British Columbia" artist, 17-year-old singer/songwriter, Kate Morgan.
- Meet Olympic Gold medalist - Maelle Ricker.
- Plan your unique Parks Canada Experience at the Welcome Centre.
- Learn to camp, hike, surf, climb, fish, geocache and more.
- Talk to historic characters and park rangers.
