Much of Kluane National Park & Reserve's 'wilderness' has been homeland to First Nations people for thousands of years. Many of the trails and routes in Kluane National Park & Reserve follow the traditional trails of the Southern Tutchone who still use them today. The Southern Tutchone have a negotiated right to hunt and fish in the park.
