Kathleen Lake Campground
Kathleen Lake is Kluane National Park and Reserve's focal point for highway accessible water-based recreation and vehicle camping. There you will find a scenic day-use area with kitchen shelter, boat launch and picnic facilities, as well as a 39-site campground with firewood, bear-proof storage lockers and outhouses.
The Kathleen Lake Campground operates by self-registration on a first come-first serve basis from mid May to mid September.
Camping fees
Fall and Winter Offer
Four Kathleen Lake Campground sites will remain open for the fall/winter season. The road to the campground, as well as the shelter and day use area, will be maintained. The public will have access to ski trails and to the Kathleen Lake Day Use shelter. Campground and firewood permit fees apply.
Overnight use of the day use shelter is prohibited. An exception will be made for school and youth groups, who will be permitted to reserve overnight use Sundays through Thursday, provided the public has continued access to the shelter.
