Prince Albert National Park of Canada
Your Fees At Work
New revenue generated from fee increases in 2003 is being reinvested in Prince Albert National Park to enhance the value visitors receive. You will see many improvements to the park’s services and facilities – Beaver Glen campsite and road repair, Boundary Bog boardwalk replacement, purchase of playground equipment, picnic tables and bike racks, to name only a few. In backcountry areas you will see improvements to pit privies, bear cache ladders and trail signage for the Kingsmere Lake area. Maintenance improvements include the purchase of a landscape rake for maintaining all trails, beach cleanup, campsite levelling and a new track setter for cross country ski trails.
Revenue collected in the future will also be reinvested in services and facilities so that visitors may continue to use and enjoy them.We appreciate any suggestions where future revenues can be reinvested. Drop your ideas off at a visitor kiosk
