At the Nature Centre you'll find exhibits and regular video presentations in the theatre which help you learn more about the park and its significance in the family of national parks of Canada. The staff can answer your questions and provide suggestions about which trails and locations you might want to take in as you seek the 'wild nature' of the park.
Come in and we'll help you look up that new bird or mammal you've just seen or find out the story behind some natural processes you're witnessing in the park.

The Nature Centre located on Lakeview Drive in Waskesiu, is a beautiful, historical building (originally the park museum) of spruce logs and fieldstone dating from the 1930's. It is the starting place for many interpretive programs and special events. The facility operates from mid-May to the end of September.
