Facilities and Services

The villages of Val Marie and Mankota provide limited essential services such as restaurants, fuel, camping and accommodations near the West Block of the park.

Limited essential services such as groceries, restaurant, fuel and accommodation are available in the village of Glentworth and Mankota, the nearest towns to the East Block. Wood Mountain has a regional park with a full service campground and swimming pool (summer only).

Wood Mountain Historical Post is situated near Wood Mountain. This is a Provincial Historic Park. Rodeo and Ranch Museum is located in the regional park, and provides limited information services for visitors to Grasslands National Park's East Block during the summer season.
