New educational product available - The Edu-Kit!

Bring hours of fun and hands-on, interactive learning into your classroom!

The overall objective of The Edu-Kit is to help children understand the value and significance of native prairie, and in learning this, develop their own sense of “prairie pride”.

The Edu-Kit is a box containing 6 complete lesson plans, activities, props, teacher background information, posters and extra activities (such as crosswords and word searches). This combination should help to bring hours of fun and hands-on, interactive learning into your classroom! It fits best with the Grade 5 & 6 Science Curriculum with the Ecosystems and Communities units. Included in the kit is a list of curriculum foundational and learning objectives that align directly with The Eco Box.

Please contact Grasslands National Park at 306-298-2257 and ask to speak with an interpreter for your chance to borrow The Eco Box at no charge. We will you ship to you and then you will ship it back. (You will pay for shipping for one-way). Through education you will help raise awareness for Species at Risk and Prairie Conservation.
