Mingan Archipelago National Park Reserve of Canada
Île à la Chasse
Although it is at the eastern end of the archipelago, Île à la Chasse is worth the trip. This island was host to Count Henry de Puyjalon, a notable character in region's history. With his many lakes and peat bogs, it's a sanctuary for several bird species. The shoreline, in certain places, has preserved clear traces of the ice age. An island to discover.
