Special activities


The naturalists invite you to a series of very special appointments: a silhouette in the morning mist, a serenade at sunset, a rabaska canoe in the night, voices around a fire… We are waiting for you!

Activities are presented in French only. Everyone is welcome to participate.


Saturday, June 27: Feu animé
Time: 8 p.m.
Meeting point: Esker Picnic Area
In the purest tradition of storytellers, around a fire, come and listen to Denis Massé, a member of the Tireux d’Roches group… An accordion, a guitar and a great liar who tells true stories! Anything can happen with him!



Wednesday, July 1st: Canada Day
Comptez pour la protection des huards!
Come and meet the park specialist responsible for the LoonWatch program.

Tout le monde à bord!
With naturalists as your guides, paddle a rabaska canoe on the waters of Wapizagonke Lake.

Aboard a rabasca canoe, admire the flourish of fall colours in the Northern portion of Wapizagonke Lake. A stop is scheduled on a charming site to have some snacks around a fire. This is a unique opportunity to gaze at the flaming landscapes of the park in a different context!
N.B. Places are limited. Bring along warm clothing, water and lunch.

Time: 11 a.m.
Meeting point: Wapizagonke Picnic Area (Corner Store Cafe)
