Activities are presented in French only. Everyone is welcome to participate.
Besides being on hand in spring, summer and fall, our naturalists are looking forward to meeting you during special events at La Mauricie National Park.

Canada’s Parks Day – Saturday, July 19th 2014
L’univers de l’étang
Come discover the fascinating world of the pond with the naturalists.
Time: 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Place: Shewenegan Pond (Shewenegan Picnic Area)
Note: Naturalists will be on hand from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Come when it suits you and stay as long as you like. Young children must be accompanied by an adult.
De nature Atikamekw
If you are fascinated by Aboriginal cultures, attend “De nature Atikamekw” to discover the cultural material of the Atikamekw and the connections that this people forged with the natural environment.
Time: from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Place: Lac Édouard Picnic Area (near the snack bar)
Note: The naturalist will be on hand from 2 :30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Come when it suits you and stay as long as you like.
Rabaska au crépuscule
From aboard a Rabaska canoe, discover Wapizagonke Lake in the enveloping hush of day’s end and enjoy excellent wildlife-watching at this time of the day! Don’t forget your binoculars!
Time: 6:30 p.m.
Place: Shewenegan Picnic Area (near the snack-bar)
Note: Children must be aged 12 years and over. The activity will last between one and a half hours and two hours. The number of places is limited.
Causeries en soirée
These evening talks are an original way of discovering various topics related to the park’s natural and cultural treasures.
Time: 8 p.m.
Place: Mistagance,Wapizagonke and Rivière à la Pêche Amphitheatres
September 19 to 21 weekend – Les Défis du Parc
La Mauricie National Park has hosted the Défis du Parc, Canada’s largest sport cycling gathering.
